PCC, Gold and White Card holders can receive free eye examinations and low cost glasses. This is also available for children under the age of 16 if they are listed on your concession card.

Further Information: If you live in Melbourne and need an eye examination, you should contact the Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital on (03) 9929 8666. If you live in Melbourne and need glasses, you should contact the Victorian College of Optometry on (03) 9349 7455. Rural residents should contact the Victorian Eye Care Service on (03) 9349 7434 for both examinations and glasses.

What concessions are you entitled to?

Concessions and discounts can vary according to State or business location. Some entitlements or concessions are linked to your DVA card type and also embossing ie DVA Gold Card and DVA Gold Card TPI embossed. Often the government concessions are linked to your residential state, especially transport concessions. Select your location and DVA card type and the type of concession i.e. utilities to see relevant and further information on ho to claim the concession or entitlement.
