Old fridges or freezes can be costly to run, putting unnecessary pressure on your household budget.

The Victorian Government is committed to helping households and businesses by offering financial incentives to dispose of your old inefficient fridge or freezer safely.

By participating, you can save money on the disposal costs and help the environment.

Any Victorian household or business that wants to dispose of a fridge or freezer, which was manufactured before 1996 but is still working, is eligible to participate.

This scheme is in place until 2029.
